Structures of gismondine, cymrite, anorthite, and celsian solid solutions

This paper presents a comparative analysis of existing structural models for AAl₂Si₂O₈ · xH₂O (A = alkaline-earth element, 0 ≤ x ≤ 5) solid solutions and highlights their advantages and drawbacks. Water molecules are shown to play an important role in the formation of a zeolite structure, as exemplified by changes in the structural framework of gismondine during its dehydration.
