Aims and Scope
Astronomičeskij žurnal is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes original papers on astronomical topics, including theoretical and observational astrophysics, physics of the Sun, planetary astrophysics, radio astronomy, stellar astronomy, celestial mechanics, and astronomy methods and instrumentation.

Peer Review Process
This journal follows a single-blind reviewing procedure. The final decision on the acceptance of an article for publication is made by the Editorial Board.
Special issues published in the journal follow the same procedures as all other issues. If not stated otherwise, special issues are prepared by the members of the editorial board without guest editors.
Publication Frequency
The journal issues monthly, 12 issues per year.
Delayed Open Access
The contents of this journal will be available in an open access format 12 month(s) after an issue is published.
