To scholarship on chromaffin systemsѣ. On the question of the structure of the sleepy gland (Glandula carotica) in humans
Abstract
To the number of representatives of the chromaffin system, except for the adrenal medulla („Paraganglion suprarenale) and additional organs of the sympathetic nerve („ Paraganglion aorticum abdominale "), of which the last have already been the subject of my closest studies, I refer to sleep as this, A. Kohn calls *) gland, giving it, by analogy with other paraganglia, the name “Paraganglion intercaroticum.” By this name, the founder of the theory of the chromaffin system determines how the genetic relationship of this formation, namely its relationship with the sympathetic ganglia, and its expression
Abderhalden's defensive enzymes for experimental nephritis
Abstract
The remarkable discovery of the defensive enzymes of the animal organism by Abderhalden has caused, in a relatively short time, the appearance of a number of works devoted to both the theoretical development of the issue and the study of the purely clinical significance of the reaction in order to recognize the diseases of various organs; moreover, the greatest interest on the part of researchers undoubtedly raised the question of the specificity of these enzymes.
