Abstract
Extremely interesting memoirs of a German physician who was a revolutionary social revolutionary in 1848, who did much for the public medicine of his time. He founded in 1875 the famous and very widespread German weekly "Deutsche med. Wochenschrift", as well as a number of other publications that still exist today, was founded by him. Reading the memoirs of a young student and already a mature champion of national happiness and health, we experience the era of Wilhelm IV, an era of reaction and a period of liberation struggles of the best sons of Germany.
