Abstract

Venous insufficiency is very common and requires the attention not only of angiosurgeons but also of general surgeons. "The widespread dissemination of venous diseases does not allow to solve the problem of their treatment only by surgeons of specialized hospitals. It is impossible to disagree with this statement. However, in order to solve this problem on such a scale, we need a unified system of views or concept, which would be clear to every surgeon and generally accepted in Russia for a certain period of time.
