Abstract
In the pathogenesis of peptic ulcer disease, like a number of other diseases, chemical mediators of nervous activity, in particular acetylcholine, play an important role. There are indications in the literature that in patients with chronic gastric ulcer, changes in the content of acetylcholine and blood cholinesterase activity are observed.
