Abstract
We studied the activity of some enzymes in the liver tissue and in the blood serum in Itsenko-Cushing's disease. The study involved 11 women aged 22–49 years with a pronounced picture of the disease: obesity with a characteristic redistribution under the skin and fatty tissue, hypertension, impaired carbohydrate metabolism. In 4 patients, the lower edge of the liver was located 1.5-4 cm below the edge of the costal arch, 2 of them complained of discomfort after eating.
