About circular chemical processes in the cell
Abstract
In No. 11-12 of the Kazan medical journal for 1931, in the editorial article that opens the issue, a rather significant place is devoted to an assessment of two of my works that appeared in the same journal (1,2). Completely and completely in solidarity with the guidelines of the Editors developed at the beginning of the article, which, as the very title of the article indicates, takes as the basis of all its work the practical implementation of the instructions of Comrade Stalin on the fight against alien theories and on vigilance on the ideological front, I cannot agree with the assessment of my works given in the article, as allegedly imbued with theories alien to dialectical materialism, and revealing mechanistic attitudes.

Ukrainian Polesie as a focus of scleroma
Abstract
In 1911 prof. Volkovich reported 128 cases of scleroma, recorded at different times in b. Russia. Of these, 27 (21 %) cases were from the Ukrainian Polesie (former okrugs - Volynskiy, Korostenskiy, Shepetovskiy and part of the former Volyn province, now occupied by Poland). Thus, already 20 years ago in Polesie there was a nested spread of scleroma, while in the rest of Russia (USSR) isolated cases were observed, and even those were almost all from ethnographic Ukraine. For 15 years (1911-1926) Kordatova collected statistical data on 150 6, of which 8 from the Ukr. Polesie. Kalina (Odessa) notes 3 cases from here.

Effect of fallopian tube ligation on tubal patency
Abstract
Among the methods of surgical sterilization of women, ligation of the fallopian tubes is one of the oldest. First used by Lungren in 1880 in a woman with a narrow pelvis, this method, due to its lightness, speed and absence of significant trauma, attracted the attention of gynecologists and quickly found a wide range of applications. Soon, however, reports began to appear in the literature about the unreliability of this sterilization method (Fritsch, Arendt, Nürnberger, Pisemsky, etc.).
About modern methods of clandestine abortion
Abstract
Legalizing abortion had an important goal — to get him out of the underground. But at the same time, the results of legalization opened up a new area for scientific research. The phenomenon, which until then was hidden about which, despite its colossal distribution, otherwise than with numerous omissions, is a sudden indentation to scientific analysis. This explains the numerous works of Russian authors devoted to the study of all aspects of legal abortion.
Homemade non-Lahton catheter
Abstract
A catheter can be made from an ordinary drainage tube. A cylinder with a height of 3-4 mm is cut out of rubber (for this, commercial pencil rubber bands or rubber plugs are good). and a diameter equal to the diameter of the inner lumen of the selected tube. Such a cylinder can be cut with a sharp scalpel; it is very convenient to cut it with a trocar tube of the corresponding lumen. This cylinder is immersed in rubber glue and left to dry.
