Compression fractures of the thoracic and lumbar spine in children
Abstract
The age-related evolution of the spine in combination with the physiological characteristics of a growing organism determines the specificity of the clinical and radiological picture and the treatment of uncomplicated spinal fractures in childhood.
Some theoretical and clinical aspects of electrical impulse therapy for cardiac arrhythmias
Abstract
Based on modern ideas about the nature of cardiac arrhythmias, about the role in their development of changes in the transmembrane potential caused by shifts in the permeability of cytoplasmic membranes and extra- and intracellular concentrations of the main potential-forming ions, it can be assumed that a high-voltage discharge of a capacitor restores sinus rhythm by affecting the indicated parameters heart muscle.
Long-term results of perivascular decompression of the great vessels of the lower extremities in the treatment of obliterating endarteritis
Abstract
There is an assumption that an important role in the occlusive process of the great arteries of the leg and foot in obliterating endarteritis is played by the factor of extravasal compression associated with pathological degeneration of paravasal tissue.
Echography of the liver and biliary tract in childhood
Abstract
Until now, many aspects of the problem of diseases of the hepatobiliary system in children remain unresolved, which prompted us to determine the diagnostic value of ultrasound examination of the liver and biliary tract in various forms of damage.
Clinical characteristics of alcoholism with different rates of progression
Abstract
In order to study the rate of progression of alcoholism, an analysis of a large clinical material was carried out: the timing of the appearance and subsequent development of the axial symptomatology of the disease, the duration of the stages and the rate of transition of the initial stage to the late ones, as well as the time of the onset of the consequences and complications of the disease, personality changes and social decompensation.
Improvement of the method of reduction of bone fragments in diaphyseal fractures of the shin bones
Abstract
Fractures of the shin bones are much more often than fractures of bones of other localization, complicated by the formation of false joints, constituting one of the main causes of primary disability in patients with traumatological profile. Early, low-traumatic and accurate reposition of fragments followed by stable immobilization significantly reduces the number of such complications.

Compression cranioplasty for surgical treatment of purulent wounds
Abstract
The presence of powerful antibacterial agents and the positive outcomes of using a blind suture after surgical treatment of purulent wounds of the skull and brain gave us the basis in an experiment on 36 dogs to find out the possibility of primary closure of skull defects using the compression method of cranioplasty developed at the Department.
Experience of using the operation of supravaginal amputation of the body of the uterus without appendages
Abstract
A common complication after surgery for supravaginal amputation of the uterine body is prolapse or prolapse of the cervical stump, which necessitates a second operation. As the analysis of the case histories of repeatedly operated patients has shown, some imperfection of the generally accepted classical technique of supravaginal amputation of the uterine body leads to the prolapse of the cervical stump.

Outcomes of traumatic brain injury in patients with impaired consciousness
Abstract
Based on the observation of 531 victims, it was found that at the age of 16 years and older, with an outrageous coma, 100% died, with a deep coma - 76.2%, with a moderate coma - 52.6%, in a stupor - 28%, with a moderate and deep stun - 30.9%.
Socio-psychological aspects of managerial work in health care
Abstract
The authors set themselves the task of providing the heads of health care authorities and institutions with information about social psychology, revealing the most important qualities of a leader, as well as relationships in the "leader-team" system, highlighting the issues of leadership style in the latter.
Some theoretical and clinical aspects of electro-pulse therapy for cardiac arrhythmias
Abstract
It is shown that a high-voltage discharge of a capacitor causes two-phase changes in the transmembrane potential, impedance, electrical resistance, and parameters of the current-voltage characteristic, which are determined by the density of the discharge current.
Quantification of physiologically significant pulmonary hypertension
Abstract
On the basis of a systematic approach to the analysis of the state of the pulmonary circulation, it is proposed to assess the degree of pulmonary hypertension not by absolute figures of pressure, but in relative values, representing the ratio of pressure in the pulmonary artery to aortic artery, correlated with the proper value.
Long-term results of perivascular decompression of the great vessels of the lower extremities in the treatment of obliterating endarteritis
Abstract
The long-term results of perivascular decompression of the great vessels of the lower extremities were studied in the treatment of patients with obliterating endarieritis with regional ischemia of II-IV degree, which allow us to consider this operation as one of the hemodynamically adequate methods of surgical treatment of endarteritis.
Clinical and immunological indicators in puerperas in the treatment of late toxicosis of pregnant women
Abstract
A survey of 207 puerperas was carried out taking into account the effect of the duration of therapy for late toxicosis on the course of pregnancy and childbirth, fetal development and adaptation of newborns, indicators of humoral immunity in terms of immunoglobulins A, M, G, total IgE and circulating immune complexes.

Magnetic fields in the theory and practice of medicine
Abstract
At the regional conference, held simultaneously with the HTT-84 review competition of medical workers, more than 40 reports were heard and discussed on the following sections: equipment for magnetic therapy and theoretical issues of its application, magnetic fields in clinics and experiments.
