Results of cerebral ventricular puncture in two cases of cerebral diseases
Abstract
Observing two cases in clinics of nervous diseases, where a puncture of the lateral ventricle of the brain was performed, I, with the permission of the director of the clinic, prof. L.O.Darkshevich, I use them to demonstrate patients in the Society of Physicians, firstly because the usual palliative treatments did not alleviate the patient's suffering, while the puncture of the cerebral ventricle gave, let's put temporary, but still satisfactory results, and secondly, because that this method of treatment may be of equal interest to both neuropathologists and surgeons.
The case of surplus lung
Abstract
During the preparation at the Anatomical Institute of the Corpse Vessels, one of the interesting deviations from the norm in the respiratory system was noticed, namely: on the opening of cavum thoracis in an infant of the second month of life, in the cavity of the left pleura, when the left diaphragmatic cost sinus was retracted to the right , to the left and posterior to the lower part of the aorta thoracalis, a special formation was seen, somewhat resembling the adrenal gland in shape, of uneven thickness, color and consistency of the lung tissue.
