Abstract
Over the past 2-3 years, foreign periodicals have provided descriptions of the increased incidence of the 4th venous disease. According to Frei, in 1931, more than 200 cases of this disease were noted in Berlin alone, while earlier this disease was observed very rarely. Since 1927, this disease has been detected in the USSR. Isolated cases are described in Odessa, Kharkov, Kiev, and over the past two years more than 10 cases have been demonstrated at a meeting of the Moscow Dermatological Society and scientific conferences of Moscow clinics.
