Abstract
Changes in the phase structure of left ventricular systole were studied in 35 patients with influenza under the influence of a single intravenous infusion of prednisolone at doses of 30 mg and 60 mg. The positive inotropic effect of prednisolone on the heart in patients with influenza was revealed. The effectiveness of the action is proportional to the administered dose of the drug.
