Long-term results of treatment of patients with Dupuytren's contracture

Abstract

The long-term outcomes of surgical treatment of 205 patients with Dupuytren's contracture were analyzed. After partial and total excision of the palmar aponeurosis, performed in 140 patients on 183 hands, excellent results were noted on 114 hands, good - 33, satisfactory - 23, poor - 13. The best effect is the surgical treatment of Dupuytren's contracture, carried out in the early stages.
