Abstract
The reasons for hospitalization of children with acute pneumonia in pediatric surgical departments are considered. The scheme of complex therapy of 65 patients with acute confluent pneumonia is presented, the technique of intrapulmonary administration of antibiotics is described and this method is assessed, as well as recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of therapy in patients with acute confluent infiltrative pneumonia.
