Abstract
Based on observations of 400 patients with tuberculomas and 26 with pulmonary hamartomas, some differential diagnostic signs characteristic of these diseases were determined. The leading role in their recognition belongs to X-ray examination. In young people, tuberculin diagnostics is of a certain importance.

Figure 2. Fragment of the tomogram of the patient J. Hamartom in the 7th segment of the right lung. The nature of calcification (conglomerative-lumpy) is typical for hamartoma, and the absence of petrification in regional lymph nodes makes it possible to practically exclude tuberculosis.
