Abstract
Garsh (Tr. Gos. Med. In. In Moscow, vol. I) gives 180 cases of sciatica, used in this way. G. divides sciatica into 2 clinical groups: 1) idiopathic sciatica with 2 subgroups: a) neuritis — with damage to the nerve substance, b) neuralgia — with dysfunction, but without disturbing the integrity of the nerve elements, 2) symptomatic sciatica.
