Abstract

Brieger (D. med. Woch., 1923, No. 31) draws attention to the diagnosis of mediastinal pleurisy as a complication of pulmonary tbc. He distinguishes between their fresh dry forms, sticky (mediastinal adhesions) and effusion, serofibrinous. The most common symptoms are pain and pleural rubbing.
