Abstract
According to observations of 583 patients, pretumor conditions of the maxillofacial region undergo malignancy in 9-14%. The cutaneous horn, papillomas for periods from 7 months to 3 years are especially prone to degeneration. The discrepancy between the diagnoses of the referring institutions and the pathomorphological conclusions was stated in 44-88%, the discrepancy between clinical and morphological diagnoses - in 19.8%.
