Abstract

The syndrome described by Stevens and Johnson in 1922 is a rare disease. For its clinical picture, a feverish state, lesions of the skin and mucous membranes are most characteristic. Abundant bullous eruptions appear on the skin of the face, trunk, upper and lower extremities.
