Abstract

Based on the study of 104 case histories and autopsy protocols for those who died from chronic pneumonia with decompensated cor pulmonale, we set ourselves the task of analyzing the pathogenetic basis of the formation of cor pulmonale, comparing the main variants of the clinical course of chronic pneumonia with the timing of the onset of cor pulmonale and its decompensation in accordance with the classification of chronic pneumonia ( Tbilisi, 1972).
