Abstract

The results of a study of the function of external respiration in 49 patients with cystic hypoplasia of the lungs indicate that with this suffering due to a decrease in the functioning tissue of the lungs, as well as inadequate development of the elements of the wall of the bronchial tree, pulmonary ventilation is significantly impaired. the power of inhalation and exhalation decreases.
