Abstract
In our clinic of infectious diseases during 1958-1962. 155 patients with malignant tumors were referred. In 47 of them, the erroneous diagnosis of an infectious disease was rejected already in the emergency room by the doctor on duty, who diagnosed pancreatic cancer in 15 patients, stomach cancer in 16 patients, lung cancer in 4 patients and other localizations in 12 patients.
