Abstract
On November 13, 1967, after a long and serious illness, one of the founders of Soviet orthopedics and traumatology, a prominent scientist, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Mikhail Osipovich Fridland, died at the age of 80.
