Abstract
Vascular lesions of the brain are common and, together with cardiovascular diseases, give the highest mortality in the overall morbidity - 2.5 times higher than with neoplasms. Mortality from vascular lesions of the nervous system, according to the World Health Organization, is about 14% of total mortality.Keywords
