Abstract
In the pathogenesis of obliterating endarteritis, VA Oppel in 1922 pointed to the importance of hyperfunction of the adrenal glands. Later, this position was confirmed in the studies of G.P. Zaitsev (1960) and F.N. Kazantsev (1961).
