Abstract
In recent years, total gastrectomy has become quite widespread both in our country and abroad, being the operation of choice for advanced gastric cancer, especially its cardiac section. In this regard, the operability of gastric cancer, according to some authors who have a large statistical material, reaches 65% (Walter), and according to Dziadek (I. Dziadek) - even 82%.
