Abstract
Afaziya from 1906, since the time of the well-known objections of R. Marie against the scholarship of the classics about her, has become the subject of very frequent discussions in the press and special societies. As far as this question is considered at the present time interesting, it is already clear from the fact that at the upcoming XI Congress of Russian doctors in memory of N.I. Pirogov, it was put into the program of the section of nervous and mental illnesses. All this, and in particular the fact that this topic was not touched upon in our Society, justifies my desire to present you with a description of the case of aphasia, which, moreover, presented some peculiarities. In addition to this, I will allow myself, at least in a condensed sketch, to present the important data on the development of the study of aphasia.
