Abstract
By cultivating the virulent bacillus in semi-permeable films (the culture in the collodion beetles descended into the abdominal cavity of the pigs) and, thus, protecting it from the action of leukocytes, the author received an increase in its virulence. In the same way, he managed to impart virulent properties to the non-virulent bacillus.
