Abstract
Leptospirosis infection (like a number of other infectious diseases) has moved to the level of sporadic cases. This made it much more difficult to identify it, and, accordingly, attention to it was lost on the part of practitioners. In our opinion, cases of leptospirosis are not so rare, they just usually pass under other diagnoses.
