Dynamics of Plasma Fibronectin in Patients with Acute Isolated and Combined Traumatic Brain Injuries

Abstract

The level of plasma fibronectin was studied in 30 patients with acute isolated and combined traumatic brain injury. Both isolated and combined traumatic brain injury is accompanied by a significant decrease in the concentration of bioactive fibronectin. It was found that hypofibronectinemia is most pronounced in patients with concomitant traumatic brain injury.
