Abstract
A comprehensive study of the morphological and functional features of the placenta of a large fetus and the intensity of uteroplacental blood flow was carried out to determine the state of the blood supply to the fetus and its role in the genesis of macrosomia. It has been established that macrosomia occurs in women with intense uteroplacental blood flow.
