About the use of high forceps, especially with a narrow pelvis

Abstract

Being, as shown by a small percentage of the general use of forceps (1.9%) in the second Budapest clinic, a fully convinced supporter of conducting childbirth without internal interference, the author, however, cannot agree with the view of Münchmeuer that even high forceps give good results for both mothers and fetuses.
