IVAN FEDOROV. MATERIALS TO THE QUESTION OF LABOR THERAPY IN A NARROW PELVIS

The issue of the therapy of childbirth with a narrow pelvis seems to be one of the least developed issues of practical obstetrics, and any new work in this direction is of great interest and deserves the attention of obstetricians. The work of Dr. Fedorov named in the title deserves all the more attention, both in terms of the mass of valuable material given in this work, and because the author of the work is one of the ardent admirers and promoters of the widespread use of forceps with a narrow pelvis. Working in one of the richest in pathological obstetric material clinics - the clinic of the University of Warsaw, the author was in extremely favorable conditions for the study of the question he had chosen for his thesis, and had the opportunity to personally check various methods of delivery with a narrow pelvis in such sizes, in which it is not everywhere will succeed. The author presented the results of his observations in his dissertation.
