Аннотация
Представлен свод формул для показателей распознающей и предсказательной способностей бинарных генетических тестов. Охарактеризована их зависимость от распространенности заболевания и частоты встречаемости генетического маркера. Показано, что при отношении шансов OR < 2,2 маркер обладает заведомо низкой прогностической эффективностью во всех смыслах при любых частотах заболевания и маркера. Маркер может быть хорошим классификатором, если OR > 5,4, но лишь при условии, что его популяционная частота достаточно высока (pM > 0,3). Приведены формулы, позволяющие в исследованиях типа «случаи–контроли» получать косвенные оценки абсолютных и относительных рисков носительства маркера
