Abstract
this article examines the portrait descriptions presented in the novel “Simon" by Narine Abgaryan. The purpose of the study is to identify the types of portrait descriptions and analyze the stylistic techniques of their implementation in the novel "Simon" by Narine Abgaryan. The objectives of the work include the selection and analysis of the types of portrait descriptions in the novel "Simon" by Narine Abgaryan, as well as the analysis of the artistic and stylistic techniques of their representation. The study used the methods of literary analysis, the method of continuous sampling, methods of analysis and generalization of scientific literature. The material for the study was the novel "Simon" by Narine Abgaryan.
