Abstract
the article is devoted to the topical problem of identifying the levels and criteria for the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies in the process of exercises of fire protection units. The research goal is to identify the main levels and criteria according to which virtual and augmented reality technologies should be used in the process of training fire protection units. The research objectives are to analyze the main theoretical approaches to the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies for fire extinguishing; as well as in the consideration of the main levels and criteria for conducting exercises using these technologies in the process of training fire protection units. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach, within the framework of which such general scientific methods as synthesis, analysis, systematization and formal-logical approach were used. A number of special methods were also used in the study: historiographical analysis of scientific literature and methods of descriptive analysis. Based on the results, the following conclusions were formulated: the main levels of application of virtual and augmented reality technologies during the exercises of fire departments are initial, confident and advanced in terms of the criterion of training users (trainees) in the field of intelligent technologies. The second criterion for the virtual and augmented technologies application is the degree of their effectiveness, which is established by monitoring the results of trainee training in the training of fire protection units.
