Abstract
the article deals with an urgent and significant problem of the formation of legal awareness of law students in the context of the development of new regions of Russia. It is emphasized that the integration of these territories into the legal space of the country requires special attention to the training of qualified legal personnel who are able to function effectively in specific socio-cultural and legal realities. The purpose of the study is to identify the features and problems of the formation of legal awareness of future lawyers in the context of the development of new regions. The study analyzes the specifics of legal culture and the prevalence of legal nihilism in these regions, identifies the determinants that influence the formation of students' legal awareness. Special attention is paid to the role of educational institutions in the adaptation of law students to new legal conditions, the existing challenges and prospects in this field are considered. The results of the study make it possible to formulate practical recommendations for educational institutions and public authorities aimed at improving the effectiveness of training legal personnel capable of ensuring legality and law and order in the new regions of Russia.
