Abstract
the research relevance is due to the increasing role of foreign borrowings in the modern Russian language, especially in news texts that reflect a dynamically changing world. The research goal is to systematize modern technological tools and methods used in the process of translating borrowed words in Russian-language news texts, as well as to identify promising areas for the development of this area. The objectives are: 1) to determine the main types and sources of borrowings in news texts; 2) study of existing approaches to the translation and adaptation of borrowed words, including transliteration, transcription, tracing and semantic translation; 3) analysis of the effectiveness of using machine translation and automatic translation systems for processing borrowings on the example of news texts. The research methods include: analysis of linguistic literature on the theory of translation, lexicology and works in the field of terminology; systematization, generalization, formal-logical method, as well as methods of descriptive analysis. Based on the results, the following conclusions were formulated: adaptation to new cultural and linguistic phenomena in modern translation requires an integrated approach, including the use of such innovative resources as online dictionaries and glossaries, TMS, NER, MP systems and corpus data. The integration of such technologies with quality control systems makes it possible to ensure the high quality of news texts and increase the adequacy of translation in a dynamically changing language landscape.
