Психическое здоровье иностранных студентов вуза: обзор зарубежных исследований

Аннотация

в статье представлен обзор зарубежных публикаций по проблеме психического здоровья студентов вуза. Исследователи отмечают высокую распространенность психических нарушений у студентов во время обучения в вузе. Наибольшим рискам психических нарушений подвергаются студенты, обучающиеся за рубежом в иной социокультурной среде. Большинство публикаций включает исследование психического здоровья иностранных студентов как фактора, обуславливающего психическую адаптацию и академическую успешность. Выделяются предрасполагающие факторы развития психических расстройств, нарушения здорового поведения, источников стресса и способности к саморегуляции, аккультурации и успешности коммуникации у иностранных студентов. Меньше представлены публикации, объясняющие низкие показатели психического здоровья у иностранных студентов как результат влияния культурных различий и субъективных оценок в отношении психического здоровья, а также содержащие рекомендации по культурно-чувствительной оценке психического здоровья иностранных студентов. Таким образом, в современной зарубежной литературе отмечена распространенность психических расстройств у студентов вузов. При этом иностранные студенты по всему миру сталкиваются с множеством факторов риска нарушений здорового поведения и специфическими проблемами адаптации в социокультурной среде, которые могут затруднять психологическую адаптацию и ухудшать психическое здоровье.
