The use of small forms of Russian folklore in the patriotic education of preschool children

the article examines the role of small forms of Russian folklore in the patriotic education of preschool children. The authors say that these genres are not only an element of oral folk art, but also an important means of transmitting cultural code, folk wisdom, and moral guidelines from generation to generation. Through concise and expressive forms, the child is introduced to national values, learns about the traditions, lifestyle and worldview of his ancestors. The work notes the importance of small forms of Russian folklore for the formation of a child's value attitude towards the Motherland, people, cultural traditions, and the development of a sense of belonging to the history and culture of his country during preschool childhood. The article provides a justification for the pedagogical possibilities of small genres of Russian folklore in the patriotic education of preschoolers. The analysis of small genres of Russian folklore and their influence on the patriotic upbringing of preschool children is carried out, the definition of methods and techniques for their inclusion in the educational process of preschool organizations is given. The materials of the article can be used by kindergarten teachers, methodologists, teachers of additional education, as well as parents in order to carry out patriotic education of preschool children.
