Abstract

research aim: to determine the specific effects of winter conditions (low temperature, snow and ice cover) on the manifestation of football players’ special coordination abilities. Research objectives. To conduct an analysis of scientific literature on the issues of coordination abilities in football players and the influence of external conditions on motor activity [1, 10]. To compare the results of special coordination tests performed by football players on indoor turf and on snow-covered outdoor fields in winter conditions. To identify the nature of changes in balance, movement accuracy, reaction time, and ball control during play in the winter period. To develop practical recommendations for coaches on adapting the training process in order to compensate for the negative effects of winter factors [9, 11]. Methods and organization of the study. The study employed methods of analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature, a pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing, and methods of mathematical statistics. Results and conclusions. The study revealed that playing in winter conditions has a pronounced impact on the manifestation of football players’ coordination abilities, significantly altering their performance during testing.
