The magazine has been published since 1933.
Until 1991, it was called "Reports of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR",
and in 1991 it was renamed "Reports of the Academy of Sciences".
Since 2020, the journal has been renamed Reports of the Russian Academy of Sciences and
began to be published in five thematic series: Mathematics, Informatics, Management Processes;
Earth Sciences; Life Sciences; Physics, technical sciences; Chemistry, materials sciences.
