Abstract

the article examines innovations in business models of digital platforms, their impact on competitive dynamics and development prospects in the modern economy. The key characteristics of digital platforms that distinguish them from traditional business models are analyzed: network effects, scalability, data-driven approach and ecosystem organization. The main areas of innovation in value proposition, monetization, operating models and ecosystem management are considered. Objective: to identify the features of the influence of digital platforms on the market structure, competition and innovation activity. Methods: the study used a qualitative methodological approach based on system analysis and synthesis of theoretical and empirical data on digital platforms and their business models, including an analysis of scientific literature in peer-reviewed journals and monographs on business modeling, platform economics and digital transformation. Results: an analysis of the characteristics of digital platforms as an innovative form of business organization was conducted, the main trends of their influence on the competitive environment and market structure were identified, the prospects for the development of digital platforms and their potential impact on traditional business models were determined. Conclusion: based on the results of the study, practical recommendations were formulated for businesses on adapting to the platform economy and for regulatory authorities on developing effective policies in the context of the dominance of digital platforms.
