Abstract
the article is devoted to the study of how digital technologies affect the management of civic initiatives of students, an active, dynamic, and promising part of modern society. The numerous opportunities offered by digital platforms, social networks, as well as a variety of analytical tools for organizing, coordinating, and promoting student projects, including such areas as environmental campaigns, social initiatives, and charity campaigns, are being considered. Special attention is paid to topical issues: digital inequality, issues of data privacy protection, growing dependence on technology and unpredictable limitations of social media algorithms. The aim of the work is to understand what digitalization brings to management processes and what barriers it creates, especially in the context of the sociology of management as a science. The methods of analyzing scientific literature and generalizing practical examples from real life are used. It turned out that technology really helps for example, 70% of students coordinate their ideas via Telegram. But without the development of digital literacy, ethical standards, and thoughtful approaches, success is limited. Universities should actively implement such tools in their educational and management strategies in order to support youth activism and minimize possible risks. This is important for building strong and sustainable communities. In the future, it is worthwhile to study the long-term effects of these processes in more depth.
