Abstract
The article presents results of the First International Scientific Conference “Vietnam. Russia. Europe: Literary and Cultural Contacts” held in Moscow, June 2019 by the Gorky Institute of World Literature (RAS) and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. It contains a short review of reports delivered by the conference participants, highlights main issues discussed by Russian experts in Vietnamese literature and Vietnamese philologists studying Russian literature, and shows the exclusively positive view of Vietnamese scholars as far as the influence of Russian literature on Vietnamese culture is concerned.
