Abstract
The article reveals the content of the International Conference on the value of the spiritual heritage of Ho Chi Minh half a century after his death held in May of this year in St. Petersburg. A brief overview of the main topics of the conference participants' reports is made: the importance of Ho Chi Minh’s foreign policy strategy for Vietnam’s victory over strong opponents, the influence of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on the masses, moral qualities of the national hero of Vietnam, Russian-Vietnamese cooperation, teaching Vietnamese in the Soviet Union and Russia.
