Abstract
The author comments on the visit of the Prime Minister of Vietnam to India in late July - early August 2024. The details of the negotiations and the documents adopted as a result of them are being considered. Against this background, the dynamics of the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries is analyzed, including the motives for their interaction. The general conclusion concerning the Vietnam-India relations is made that the trend of strengthening multidisciplinary bilateral dialogue, including in the field of defense and security, continues to increase.
