Abstract
This article is written on a material of proverbs and sayings features of national characters of Englishmen, Germans and Russian. Languages of these nations very brightly reflect in themselves various perception of the world, in particular, perception of time. The knowledge of language thinking of the interlocutor, its relation to the various situations helps to develop true communicative strategy and to avoid communicative errors.
