Abstract
To identify the features of the speech texture of the creative personality (in this case bilingual), it is important to analyze stylistic figures, figurative means, syntactic constructions, the general framework of the text. This article analyzes several essays of Kazakh publicist, historian Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed. In addition to the analysis of language tools, all the lexical units used in the five essays were calculated to determine the nucleus of the thesaurus of the author. From the 20 most commonly used lexemes of the thesaurus core, the concept of “enlightenment” is highlighted, around which the remaining words are grouped.
