Abstract

Development of social elevators and support of student initiatives are important functions of a higher educational institution. At Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University these types of pedagogic work are carried out on the basis of tried and tested methodologies of project activities. Extracurricular activity and project development jointly with the staff of the University’s Educational Department, who are responsible for the organization of educational work and project activities, opens up new vistas for students in terms of self-realization, and make it possible to organize events of unique nature, including such of the municipal level. The participants of the extracurricular activity gain valuable theoretical and practical experience, which can be used within their further professional path.
